Bluetooth Proxy & Air Sensor
— a friendly guide to your new smart-home gadget —
EASY GUIDEno jargon!
1
What is this thing?
One small box. Two jobs. A Bluetooth Proxy for your gadgets and a sensor that measures the air in your room.
2
Just plug it in
No special power supply needed — your old phone charger is perfect.
3
First-time setup
It makes its own little WiFi at first. Join it from your phone, type in your real WiFi password — and that's it.
4
What does it actually do?
The Bluetooth Proxy hears your gadgets nearby and passes the message along over WiFi — through walls, floors and out to the garden.
5
Example: watering on autopilot
Hot day? The garden gets watered all by itself. Even when you're not home.
6
What the air sensor sees
Always-on readings of your room — how warm, how damp, the weather pressure, and how fresh the air feels.
7
Keeping it up to date
First time you'll need a USB cable. After that, updates arrive wirelessly — no need to unplug a thing.
8
In your Homeassistant app
Plug it in, connect, done. Homeassistant will find it on its own — each reading shows up as a friendly little tile.
